PANCAKE DAY

The Club has been cooking pancakes and sausages with a smile since 1967! In that time, over $800,000 has been raised and at least 200,000 people have been fed. Typically 7,000 - 8,000 meals are served and $60,000 - $70,000 is raised annually. Kiwanians work one of three shifts of five hours at the event which is held on the last Saturday in February at the Decatur High School cafeteria.

Proceeds benefit the Morgan County Sheriff's Youth Ranch and other worthwhile Morgan County Youth Projects. Through the years, Kiwanis efforts have enabled the Boy's Ranch to purchase vehicles and install fencing, flooring and air conditioning units.
